I wish I could give Mieko 100 stars for how wonderful she was (and continues to be). Mieko was so patient, detailed, and super accommodating. She is very responsive and made sure we got all of the shots I wanted. Communication is key and it was so easy and stress-free to work with her. Our entire family had the best time and laughed nonstop during our session. I hope to be lucky enough to return to Maui soon and definitely would book another photo session with Mieko. I worked with Mieko for over four years. She is an extremely talented and thoughtful photographer. I hired her for all kinds of editorial jobs at the magazine—from shooting adventure stories to still life dining to home interiors—she can do it all. Formal and candid portraits were also frequent assignments I gave her. She always gave me more images than I asked for and was careful to capture the focus of the story but also extra shots I could use in the layouts. I can't recommend her enough.
